Lenk

Lenk or Lenk im Simmental is a municipality located in the district of Obersimmental.

It is one of the biggest ski resorts of Switzerland . The resort provides excellent skiing facilities amidst the dazzling beauty of the Alpine atmosphere. The Lenk Ski Resort is interlinked with the Adelboden Ski Area , another major ski resort of Switzerland. The Lenk Ski Resort is situated in the middle of the Swiss Alps, which gives skiers an opportunity of enjoying the activity there.

The Lenk Ski Resort , at an altitude of 1,050 metres, is served by 67 ski lifts. The highest lift reaches a height of 3,000 metres. The base of the resort, however, is at 950 metres. The total length of the pistes of the ski resort adds up to 250 Kilometers. There are also the cross country trails, which are 100 kilometers long. The snow park in the resort is for entertainment of the skiers. The ski and other equipment hiring facilities are also available in the resort.
