Karpacz is one of the major ski resorts, situated in the Karkonosze region of the southwestern part of Poland . The resort is located at the base of Sniezka Mountain .
The Karpacz ski resort encompasses kilometers of well maintained ski slopes, which appeal to skiers of every caliber. There are total 21 ski trails or pistes in the resort. Around 22 ski lifts have been installed in the Karpacz resort, which carry skiers and visitors to the upper parts of mountains. Apart from skiing, other winter sports like off-piste skiing, snowboarding and freestyle skiing are also staged at Karpacz .
Every year, the ski season at the Karpacz ski resort commences in November, which ends in April. During winter, many people gather at the resort to enjoy the activity. There are some slopes, which can be used by the novices for practicing and enhancing their skiing skills. Tourists can also visit the resort, as there are some hiking routes open for them.
Accommodation at the Karpacz ski resort is available in hotels, motels, apartments and cabins. There are also youth hostels in the resort, where people can stay during their visit. There are also disco and pubs in the resort for entertaining the guests.
