Jasna

Jasna is located in the beautiful settings of both slopes of the Chopok Peak in the Low Tatras National Park . It is a main skiing destination of Slovakia as well as Europe.

The place is also a major tourist attraction of Slovakia and Europe. To the delight of the skiers, Jasna offers a round the year schedule. The winter is occupied by skiing routines but during summer, spring and autumn the resort plays host to a few other sports like hiking, mountain-biking and cycling. There are also provisions for water sports and fishing at the Liptovska Mara Dam located at a distance of 20 kilometers from the Jasna Village.

There are actually three ski areas in the Jasna Ski Resort . They cover a total of 21 kilometers of well maintained pistes. The resort is served by thirteen ski-lifts, four chair-lifts and a cabin cableway. It is a favorite among the skiers who love skiing in the serene atmosphere of Jasna.

The accommodation at the Jasna ski resort is pretty attractive. There are quite a few hotels and bed and breakfast inns and cabins inside the resort. These are the Hotel Liptov, Hotel Grand Jasna and others. The hotels are quite popular among the boarders for their warm hospitalities and a number of added amenities. The popularity of the Jasna Ski Resort has been on the rise since its establishment and is visited by a large number of skiers every year.
