Funasdalen

Funasdalen is the third largest ski resort and ski area in Sweden with grand mountains and picaresque sights.

It seems from the resort as if the grand and high mountains are beckoning tourists to come and explore their slopes. There are many unexplored areas and slopes in the resort that attract numerous guests every year. Despite the crowd that fills up Funasdalen ski resort , there is peace and tranquility in the air of the resort and is very relaxing. Funasdalen has many other resorts in close vicinity like Ramundberget, Bruksvallarna, Tannas, Hamra and Ljusnedal.

Funasdalen ski resort is believed to be the most snow-sure ski resort in Sweden . There are continuous bus and taxi services to the resort during the peak ski season and therefore reaching the resort is no problem. The runs and slopes in the resort are very well groomed and maintained throughout the entire ski season. There are total 7 slopes in the resort with the longest run of 17 kilometers. There are three ski lifts which help in ascending to the ski area from the ski resort. During November to May, snowfall is Funasdalen is abundant and enough for enjoying skiing to the fullest. Accommodation for tourists is arranged in numerous hotels, cottage villages and privately owned chalets. Funasdalen ski resort also offers special facilities in the form of restaurants, bars, dancing places, discos, ski equipment rentals and ski school.
