Crans Montana is a ski resort on the Swiss Alps in the district of Valais in Switzerland . The resort offers one of the best skiing conditions in Europe.
The Crans Montana Ski Resort is situated at an altitude of 1,500 metres above sea level. It has developed mainly on the Plaine-Morte Glacier. The resort has about 160 kilometers of pistes and 40 kilometers of cross country trails. The whole area comprises of 50 slopes. They are connected by a network of 34 ski lifts ranging between 1500 metres to 3000 metres. There are restaurants along the trails for the refreshment of the weary skiers. During off season, the resort hosts a few other sports.
The Crans Montana Ski Resort has excellent boarding facilities. There are several hotels like Hotel Mont-Blanc, Hotel St-George, Grand Hotel du Golf and others. These hotels provide the boarders with comfortable living facilities along with several other added amenities. The skiers from all over the world love to take on the snowy slopes of the Crans Montana Ski Resort during the skiing season to enjoy the activity down the Swiss Alps .
