Bjorkliden

Bjorkliden , a beautiful location in Sweden , is surrounded by beautiful mountains and high ranges.

It has developed into a major ski resort of Europe amid the deep wilderness that is left in the continent. The resort is located at a height of 420 metres. The total length of the pistes is 15 kilometres while there is also 120 kilometres of cross country trails. The area, which includes 24 slopes, receives the service of five ski lifts.

The pistes in the Bjorkliden Ski Resort are designed separately for the beginner skiers who can learn the basics of skiing in the trails. The intermediate skiers use the resort most for practice. However, there are also enough difficulties along the pistes to match the skills of the expert skiers. The resort offers a number of on-snow activities like heli-skiing, snow shoeing, dog sledging, torch light descents and others. It gives a chance to the skiers to hire skis and other equipments before actually stepping on the pistes.
