The Red Resort faces an annual snowfall of 7.6m. The base of the resort lies at 1185m above sea level, while the highest point is 2072m high. Ski area at the resort covers 642 hectares including more than 83 trails. The skiers of different caliber can enjoy skiing in their own way here. The lifts available at the ski resort include Red Carpet, Paradise Chair, Red Chair, Silverlode Chair, Motherlode Chair and T-Bar. Cross country can be availed from the Red's base area. Centennial trail is connected to the town of Rossland by a loop.
The Red Resort also has terrain parks in the West Kootenays. The park has 15 rails, fun boxes and tabletop jumps. Nearest ski area and towns of this resort are Phoenix Ski Mountain, Salmo Ski Hill, Castlegar, Rossland, Trail and Fruitvale. The recreational facilities offered at the ski resort include skiing and other winter sports. Tourists generally enjoy themselves at the restaurants, cafeterias, day lodge, and day care centre.
