Horseshoe Valley is located in southern Ontario, north to the city of Barrie. The resort is quite close to Toronto , with a driving time of merely one hour 15 minutes. Direct car services are available in abundance from Toronto to the resort.
Skiing in Horseshoe Valley ski resort is great fun with 23 trails. The longest run in the resort is of 2,200 feet. Spread over 61 acres of land, the resort has base elevation of 1,024 feet and summit elevation of 1,332 feet. The vertical rise in the resort reaches 308 feet. There are separate trails for alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. There are eight ski lifts in the form of chairlifts and magic carpets. Night skiing options are also present in the ski resort.
There are several facilities offered by Horseshoe Valley ski resort , which include accommodation services in various hotels, lodges and rented apartments. Among other facilities, there are restaurants, bars, cafes, golf, spa services, conference rooms and ski equipment rentals.
