Location of Hockley Valley ski resort is such that it can be reached within 45 minutes from Toronto . The total way from Toronto to the resort is extremely beautiful with trees lining both sides of the road.
Skiing in Hockley Valley is an enjoyable experience with skiable area spread over almost 30 acres. Vertical drop in the resort reads 375 feet. There are total 14 trails in the resort and the longest trail runs to 488 meters. There are 12 kilometers of cross-country trails also. Ski slopes are suitable for all level of skiers but intermediate skiers can enjoy skiing most in the resort. There are five ski lifts that transfer skiers to the ski area. Ski season in Hockley Valley spans from mid-December to end-March.
There are abundant hotels, rented apartments and private houses in Hockley Valley ski resort for accommodation purposes. Apart from this, the resort provides restaurants, cafes, bars, spa, conference rooms, swimming pool, fitness center and ski equipment rentals as additional facilities.
