Meadowlands Xanadu

Meadowlands Xanadu is an indoor ski resort under construction in New Jersey, United States of America .

The resort was intended to be inaugurated in 2007, but may be postponed to 2008 for technical reasons. The concept of indoor skiing is quite popular in many parts of the world. There are indoor ski resorts in various countries including Belgium, China, United Arab Emirates, England, France, Germany and Spain. The main aim in these indoor ski resorts is to have a climate controlled environment. Snow in these resorts can be prepared by using snow cannons and facilitate skiing all throughout the year.

Meadowlands Xanadu is targeted at being the largest retail and entertainment complex in New Jersey, USA . Proposal for a snow dome in the resort has been put forward. This will be America's first indoor alpine ski resort that can be accessed all throughout the year. The resort shall have real snow and chairlifts to take the skiers to the main ski area. Quality of the snow in Meadowlands Xanadu indoor ski resort will be of high standard to provide original essence of skiing in rough outdoor terrains. Ski lifts with high speeds will be operated in the indoor resort. Various types of slopes will also be prepared to cater to various levels of skiers. Special ski lessons will also be imparted to beginners and children.
