Jurong Singapore is linked to the main Island of Singapore by a causeway which is 2.3 Kilometers in length and is called the Jurong Island Highway. However, access to the Jurong Island is restricted and one needs to have a Jurong Island Security Pass before entering the Island and carrying of any photographic equipment is also restricted.
Jurong Singapore Island is a self sufficient Island and has all the important amenities that are required. These include the fire station, and an amenity center known as Oasis Sakra that houses a food court and a medical clinic.
