Lantern Festival - This is one of the most colorful festivals in Singapore held in either September or October to celebrate the full moon of Chinese New Year. The Mooncake Fair and Children's Lantern Festival are the main attractions.

Deepavali - Celebrated in the month of November, it is an important Hindu Festival, when devotees walk barefoot on heated embers in Sri Mariamman Temple. God's Festival is another Hindu festival held in October or November.

Christmas - What better way to end the year than by celebrating the birth of the blessed one and Singapore does this with elan.

Arts, Music, Food, Fashion and Shopping Events in Singapore Singapore River Hong Bao festival is the beginning of the fanfare, held in February, with musical performances by artists. The Singapore Fashion Festival is one of the most awaited events, held in March and April, with the latest trends being showcased by the best fashion designers of the country and abroad. The Marina Bat becomes fully crowded with spectators during the Dragon Boat Race in the month of May or June. In June, the Singapore Arts Festival gives the aspiring artists a chance to bring their works of art in front of the visitors. For the Theater and Drama freaks, July is the best time to visit Singapore with the Arts In The Park taking the center stage with theatrical performances.
