The Seychelles people offer a warm hospitality to every outsider and this is the reason why the country is becoming a renowned tourist destination these days. The country is located at the African continent and situated near the coastal region of the Indian Ocean. The size of the country is very small, rather it is known as the second smallest country of Africa. The demographic feature of the country is also not very dense. According to the 2006 census, Seychelles has the population of around 87,000, only. The people of Seychelles are known by a common name- Seychellois.
People of Seychelles are the mixture of many ethnic groups like, African, Asian, European, Creole and French. Each have their own community and own religion but the mixture of all the cultures and religions make the culture of Seychelles, as a whole. Every community has their own way to live their life. Some follow their ancestral style or some have adopted the new ways of living but the lifestyle of Seychelles People as a whole is quite interesting to look at because all of them respect each other's religion and follow them in their lifestyle. All these prove the unity among the people of Seychelles.
