About Seychelles

With the vibrant shades of green and blue, the islands of Seychelles have always been dream destination for more than half of the world. The sandy beaches with crystal clear blue water definitely attracts all. Though Seychelles is most crowded during the periods from December to January and July to August, trips to the islands can be exciting through out the year.

Seychelles History begins with the British invading the islands in 1906. The British enjoyed the power till 1756, after which the French colonization was settled. Again in 1814 the British got back their power. However by 1975, Seychelles became independent.

Seychelles Geography is the most important thing in the islands, because that is what makes Seychelles so special and an attractive tourist spot. Seychelles accommodates about 100 islands in the Indian Ocean. The combination of white sand and blue water is the magic of the nature.

Seychelles Government is basically Socialist Republic. So there is no political upheavals in the society. This definitely brings peace to the islands and makes them all the more safe for traveling. Seychelles has always been a great place to visit for holidays and short trips. There are economical packages for the trips, which include traveling, staying as well as sightseeing.
