Role and Power of the Serbia President The president of Serbia is elected through the process of general direct elections. The President of Serbia is not only the formal head of the State and the international representative of the country, he is also the head of the Armed forces of the country.
The President of Serbia is also vested with the important responsibility to declare an emergency with the consent of the Government.
He can also adopt important measures in order to establish order and peace in the country.

Office of the President The Office of the President of Serbia is primarily managed by the Chief of the Staffs who is vested with the important responsibility to check whether the President id conducting his duties properly or not. The present Chief of Staff is Jovanka Radovic. There are also important advisors in the office.
The present Serbia President is Boris Tadic, who was officially elected the President of Serbia on 11th July, 2004.
