Serbia politics is an integral part of the administrative history of Serbia, a country, which will always be remembered by the world because of the Sarajevo tragedy, which was responsible for the outbreak of the First World War.

The objective was to unite all regions outside the usual boundaries of Serbia, which included Eastern Lika, Banija, western Slavonia, and the Knin area, Baranja, Kordun, Bukovica and Ravni Kotari. The Serbia Foreign Relations Serbia's relation with the European Union has been constructive and the amiable relations with the EU have enhanced the military protection of the country. In the recent past Serbia has been trying to get membership with NATO.

The relationship with 6 neighboring countries and United States is very vital to the country's political status. The Serbia political relations are important for the development of the country in terms of setting up a stable government. This in turn will affect various aspects of national life.
