Serbia war is a term that expresses all the major wars that had foreshadowed Serbia history. The Balkan wars can be also fall under Serbia war and they refer to the short wars that were fought between 1912 and 1913. The Balkan states wanted to increases their provinces and Serbia and other states also tried to grab hold of more and more land of the Ottoman empire. When the Serbia war is discussed, the important Kosovo war should be mentioned, that took place a long time back, resulting in its annexation to the Ottoman empire.
Serbia and World War
The history of Serbia had been etched by its association with the World War I. This historical war commenced with the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, by a Serbian patriot. This led to the war between Austria and Serbia. After a few months almost the entire Europe was participating in the war. This war had left a deep impact on Serbia and it got included in the Kingdom of the Serbs, Slovenes and Croats. The Serbia war just like all the wars of the world, incurring huge losses to all its participates.
The consequences of the Serbia war were noted in the political situation of the country, just after that and for many more years.
