The relation between Serbia and Greece has been always supportive. The relation between Serbia and Greece dates back to the days of Balkan war. During the First Balkan War, Serbia and Greece fought together against the Montenegro. Again during the Second Balkan Wars, both Serbia and Greece fought against Bulgaria for gaining control over Macedonia. Serbia had also extended meaningful support to Greece on the issue of FYROM. But oil, food stuffs and arms kept on flowing from Greece to Serbia, in violation of the embargo sanctioned by the UN. In 1994, Greece also did not support the NATO attacks in Serbia.
