The Serbia Genocide marks a very important chronology in the pages of cognizant history of Serbia. Killing many and dismantling many more, the Serbia Genocide proved to be a black spot in the face of humanity
Serbia Genocide in Bosnia
The main reason behind the Bosnia Genocide was the clash between three different ethnic communities Serbs, Croats, and Muslim. Genocide can be defined as a movement against a particular community and ousting it from a particular country. The mass plunder in the Serbia Genocide included the destruction of numerous mosques, which proved the directed hatred towards the particular Islamic community in Bosnia.
The Bosnian Muslims were mercilessly killed, irrespective of their age and gender. The conditions reminded one of the Nazi genocide during the World War II. The Serbia Genocide also included mass shootings, forced displacement and confinement in concentration camps, which were meant for men and boys. Without any food, water or hygiene, one could not imagine for a worst condition to die in. The treatment of the women in Serbia Genocide was even more hideous, with mass rapes, a tool that forced the Muslim communities to abandon the country. Honor killings took its toll, especially in the orthodox Muslim communities where women are considered to be the honor of the community and violating that honor is dismantling the honor of the community from its own position.
This hideous mission was branded in the holistic name of 'ethnic cleansing,' a name that still lingers as a dark memory in the Serbia History. Similar were the Serbia Genocide in Kosovo, which was committed against the ethnic community of the Albanians.
