University of Arts is one of the most important Serbia Universities, which is located in the capital city, Belgrade and is one of the highest institutions in the country that provide the students with well guided and systematic higher education on arts. The Art Academy of Belgrade was named University of Arts on 21st of May, 1973.
Faculties of the University of Arts
There are four different faculties of arts in this reputed University of Belgrade, Serbia and the four Faculties are Faculty of Music Arts, Faculty of Applied Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts and Faculty of Drama Arts.
- Faculty of Music Arts - This faculty was founded within the university when it was still known as the Academy of Arts. This faculty was opened by the adaptation of a Ministry of Education Decree of 31st of March, 1937 and had started its functioning from 21st of November, 1937.
- Faculty of Applied Arts - This is another important faculty of this University, which has been proved the students with the best knowledge on Applied Arts. Some of the important programs of this faculty are Interior Architecture, Costume, Mural Painting, Design of Textile, Ceramics and Conservation and Restoration.
- Faculty of Fine Arts - This is another important faculty of the University of Arts was founded in the year 1937 and provides with important degrees in fine arts.

- Faculty of Drama Arts - This faculty provides with important theater lessons. The academy of Theatre was renamed as the Faculty of Drama Arts in 1973.
Students from different parts of the country, especially from the southeastern part of Europe come to thus University to establish themselves in the field of art.
