Angus

Angus is one of the finest destinations of Scotland. It is a Scotland's council areas, dominated by the Local Government. Some of the cities like Perth and Aberdeenshire fall under the council areas of Angus. The fishing and the agricultural are the main industries in the city of Angus.

History of Angus

Forfarshire was the official name of Angus. In 1975, the city came to be known as a district of the Tayside Region. The region was annihilated and Angus became a unitary authority. There were many areas under the constituency of Angus Westminister and Angus Hollyrood. The Northern and Western sides of Angus were covered with mountains. The area, of five Angus Glens, was scarcely populated. The main occupation of the people residing in this region was hill farming. Strathmore was a famous agricultural area in Angus.
