Sharab Al Nana



Sharab Al-Nana is counted amongst the finest beverages of Saudi Arabia. It is a mint drink that is used mainly during the summers in the Middle East region. Sharab Al-Nana of Saudi Arabia
is served at many restaurants in this Arab country. One can also prepare Sharab Al-Nana at home as it consumes very less time.

Following are the ingredients of Sharab Al-Nana:
  • 3 tablespoons dried mint or ½ cup of fresh mint
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 pinch ground saffron
  • Sugar as per taste
Method of preparing Sharab Al-Nana
The whole procedure of making Sharab Al-Nana would not take more then 10 minutes. To start with, first wash the mint properly. Now take a teapot. Put the mint, saffron and sugar in it. Add the hot boiling water over the mixture of mint, sugar and saffron.

Now put the teapot on low flame. Bring the whole mixture to boil. Now remove it from heat and take it out in small glasses or cups. Garnish it with some mint leaves. Sharab Al-Nana of Saudi Arabia is ready to serve.
