Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia is actually a department of government which was offered ministry status in the year 1950. It mainly looks after the health care sector and the hospitals. Both the private and public sector hospitals are supervised by the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia. The primary aim of the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia is to provide health care to the people of rural areas through the establishment of primary health care institutes. It should be kept in mind that those centers were set up in order to cater the basic health needs of the patients. On the other hand, for each of the five primary medical centers there is one diagnostic and maternity department.
This is not all, the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia also looks after the specialist city hospitals that are highly recommended for their quality medical treatments including cancer treatment, surgery, transplants and complicated diagnoses. This is how the ministry takes care of the entire health care system of the Saudi Arabian people.
