King Fahd Medical Center



King Fahd Medical Center was constructed from the year 1984 to 1995. The King Fahd Medical Center is located in the Sulemanian area of Riyadh and covers an area of 50.50 hectares.
The King Fahd Medical Center is also known as King Fahd Medical City Complex and is easily accessible from all directions of the capital city.

The King Fahd Medical Center comprises of 4 hospitals with a total of 1095 beds and 33 Primary Clinics which also serve the purpose of an Outpatient Unit and provide the facilities of X-Rays, pharmacies, laboratories and screening patients. The four hospitals in the King Fahd Medical City Complex are—The Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, The Pediatric Hospital, The Specialist Hospital and The Rehabilitation Hospital.
  • The Pediatric Hospital—it was officially inaugurated in the early summer of 2003 and has 246 beds. It has the latest state-of-the-art technologies and special care units for children.
  • The Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital—it was officially started on October 26th, 2003 and has 236 beds. There is also an Outpatient Department and special units for women's medical care.
  • The Rehabilitation Centre—this centre has 154 beds and preparations are still under construction for the best quality of rehabilitation care.
  • The Specialist Hospital—it has 459 beds and will have the latest medical technology for specialized medical care.
  • The King Fahd Medical Center will enhance the medical structure of Saudi Arabian country and will earn a high reputation for the country.
