King Saud University in Riyadh



King Saud University in Riyadh was established in the year 1957. Initially it was known as Riyadh University. Later the name was changed to King Saud University in 1982.
This is one of the first educational institutions to be set up in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The university has been recognized by the ministry of higher education in Saudi Arabia. Being the oldest university in the kingdom, King Saud University attracts majority of students at the university level.

King Saud University in Riyadh offers graduate and postgraduate degree courses to the learners. Students can pursue higher education in the following streams - science and technology, language and cultural studies, business and social science, medicine and health and art and humanities.

King Saud University, Riyadh, offers a number of streams for the students under its various colleges. Some of them are Pharmacy and Science, Economics and Administration, Arts, Languages and Translation, Administrative Sciences, Computer Sciences, Applied Medical Sciences, Architecture and Planning, Education, Dentistry, Medicine, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Engineering and Agriculture.

In addition to all the above areas of studies, there is also an Institute of Languages, an Arabic Language Institute, College for Graduate Studies, a Women's University Studies center and a Center for Continuing Education.
