Saudi Arabia can be counted among one of the richest nations of the world. However, it is the rich oil treasure of the country that has provided it with such economic stability. However the oil industry is capital dependent and as such does not generate many jobs in Saudi Arabia. However, the government of Saudi Arabia is trying to devise policies, which would develop the other sectors of the country and subsequently generate more and more jobs in the Saudi Arabian economy. The Saudi Arabian government has waked up to the fact that the total development of the Saudi Arabian economy is not possible unless there are enough employment opportunities in the country. The country has quite a moderate rate of education and is slowly creating policies to engage this educated part of population in the employment sector.
Revised government policies have increased diverse opportunities regarding jobs in Saudi Arabia. Government procedures have slowly updated the banking, construction, education, engineering, information technology, environmental, sales and sports sectors of Saudi Arabia. However, it should be noted that the bulk of these jobs are being consumed by foreign workers who come to Saudi Arabia from the neighboring countries, in search of better salaries. However, the working conditions in Saudi Arabia have raised a few human rights questions, although the situation is steadily improving with the passage of time.
