Satellite imagery map of North American continent shows the continent's topography and bathymetry. This most accurate and updated satellite imagery map of North America, has a 15° latitude and longitude grid. Data collected in August 2004 by NASA's MODIS satellite instrumentation is used for the land imagery. Data for ocean bathymetry is obtained from General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans, 2003 reports. Grand Canyon and enormous Manicouagan crater are just some of the physical features that can be clearly identified in this satellite imagery map.
