Giclee Prints
Giclee (zhee-CLAY) printing is a technique in which ink jet printing process is used for making fine art large sized digital images. A premium quality, glossy photo paper of 10 mil is used to make these pictorial images.Epson UltraChrome K3 ink, a lightfastness of up to 108 years is used for making these prints. Bright colors, high resolution and long shelf life all together have made Giclees superior in all forms than traditional lithography.
Plaque Mounting
Satellite imagery maps are available Plaque Mounted. A non glossy, soft UV laminate is applied with heat and pressure on a 5.0 mil Giclee print. This laminate prevents the print from any kind of damage, moisture of UV radiations. After which a dry mount tissue is sandwiched between the print and a medium density fiberboard of 1/8 inch thickness. This board is then dry mounted on a 1 inch frame and is sealed with heat and pressure. Finishing of the entire mount is done with a taped chamfered edge. This museum quality Plaque Mount can be cleaned easily with a soft cloth. This mount is available up to 4 ft x 8 ft in sizes.
