Trade Union of San Marino is a powerful body in this small European nation. Most of the trade unions in San Marino were independent of the various political parties and of the Government of San Marino.
But it has been seen that many of these trade unions have informal and close relations with political parties. The political parties have a strong influence on the San Marino trade unions. There are many trade unions of San Marino that are affiliated and associated with several international bodies dealing with trade unions.
Trade Union of San Marino has two major parties, namely:
- Democratic Confederation of San Marino Workers
- San Marino Labor Confederation

Both of these parties mainly deal with the problems of the workers in the several industries of San Marino. These trade unions carry forward the various demands of the workers and laborers to the respective employers and try to bring out solutions to the problems.
There are several meetings and conferences held by these trade unions in San Marino every year to improve the status of the workers in the country. The two trade unions at San Marino have undergone several struggles and hardships, before establishing themselves as good and progressive trade unions in the country as well as in the world.
