English and French Creole are the commonly used Languages of Saint Lucia, which are used by the people of the land to communicate with each other. English is the official language of Saint Lucia, while French Creole is the native language of the country. Both these languages of Saint Lucia can be described as the living languages of the people.

French Creole in Saint Lucia
French Creole is the most widely and commonly used native language of Saint Lucia. Majority of the Saint Lucians speak in this language. French Creole is the second language of the people of Saint Lucia. French Creole, which is also known as Kwéyòl, is almost same to the Dominican Creole French.
Besides these two important Languages of Saint Lucia, standard French is also spoken by the minority and it is also used for some religious ceremonies.
