Kigali province is one of the most important provinces of Rwanda. The Kicukiro is located in this Kigali province. The Kigali province consists of Kigali rural and the Kigali city. In the Kicukiro district, people cast their votes in the morning hours. The strongest party in the Kicukiro district is the RPFm (Rwandese Patriotic Front). The voting process in the Kigali city is generally held without any disruption. While other areas preferred election at the afternoon time, the people of Kicukiro preferred the morning time.
This Kicukiro district of Rwanda also faces similar health problems like the other districts of Rwanda. Aids, Malaria, respiratory problems are very common in this Kicukiro district. Due to lack of proper health care centers people are suffering from deadly diseases. A recent survey showed that the count of HIV patients have got reduced in the Kicukiro district along with the other districts of Rwanda. The councilors selected in the various Rwandan districts help in making people understand the HIV patients need support from us. The Peer education is very popular among the districts of Rwanda including the Kicukiro district, where HIV awareness has increased over the recent years.
