Rwanda is a country which is located in the Central Africa, on the eastern side of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Rwanda Districts and Cities are divided into 5 administrative provinces namely eastern province, western province, south and northern province and also the Kigali city. Formerly, Rwanda was known as Ruanda and the conventional name was Republic of Rwanda. The country has Uganda on the northern side and Tanzania lies on the eastern side. Rwanda is also known as the “land of thousand hills".

The districts and cities of Rwanda have their own courts which are known as the Provincial Court and the City court of Kigali. The northern province is known as the Kinyarwanda which consists of the provinces like Ruhengiri and Byumba. The capital city of this province is Byumba. The southern region also consists of important districts of Rwanda like Gikongoro, Gisagara, Gitarama and many more. The Nyanza is the capital of the southern province of the country.
