Swan Lake is a very popular and one of the oldest Russian ballet. The ballet is performed in four Acts and four Scenes outside Russia and Eastern Europe while within Russia and Eastern Europe it is presented in three Acts and four Scenes.
Originally, the ballet
Swan Lake at Russia was choreographed by Julius Resinger with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky as the musician. In the beginning, the ballet was presented as The Lake of the Swans at the Moscow Imperial Bolshoi Theater at Moscow.
After Tchaikovsky, Petipa and Ivanov staged the ballet Swan Lake in Russia after making certain amendments in various scenes. Many amendments were made keeping in mind the countries and places where the ballet was to be performed. They were followed by numerous other ballet producers including the following:
