Membrane Science and Technology in Russian Federation is an attempt to provide an updated ground for research and discoveries in specific topics. The Russian Membrane Science and Technology department conducts many seminars and conventions throughout the year. Recently there was a Russian conference titled ‘Membranes 2004’, held near Moscow during October 2004.
The objectives of the Membrane Science and Technology in Russian Federation include optimizing materials and methods of the new membrane operations in order to check and improve their reliability and making new and innovative processes to decrease the waste emissions and environmental pollution problems. Reduced of energy consumption and high quality of final products in the important industries are also looked into.
Some critical cases undertaken by this Membrane Science and Technology in Russia include Membrane crystallizers, Membrane distillation, Membrane emulsifiers, Mass transfer catalysis and Fuel cells. Various researches are being carried out in these fields since years. Some positive responses have encouraged further scrutiny into the research topics. Some limitations of this project are hydrodynamic studies, module design and engineering analysis.
Since the last decades, the Membrane Science and Technology in Russian Federation have made significant innovations. The discoveries and studies have lead to sustainable industrial growth. The processes and products in the large scale industries have improved remarkably.
