In Government of Russian Federation, the Prime Minister holds a very prestigious position. The present Prime Minister of Russian Federation is Viktor Zubkov. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin nominated Viktor Zubkov as the Prime Minister of the country in September 2007. Viktor Zubkov became the Prime Minister of Russia after Mikhail Fradkov.
Viktor Alekseyevich Zubkov, the Russian Prime Minister was born on 1941. Before Viktor Zubkov was appointed as the Prime Minister of the country, he served the Government of Russia as the investigator of financial crime.
Viktor Zubkov completed his graduation from Leningrad Agriculture Institute from Economic Department. Zubkov occupied many prestigious positions as government officials. In the Communist Party of Soviet Union, he was a major figure from 1985 to 1991. He was selected as the First Deputy Chairman of the Leningrad Oblast Executive Committee for the party.
In later years, Viktor Zubkov engaged himself to the post of Chief, in the Department of the State Tax Inspection of St. Petersburg. At the same time, he was made the Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Inspection in St. Petersburg.
During his successful political career, Viktor Zubkov, the Prime Minister of Russian Federation was appointed as the First Deputy Finance Minister of the country, after he left the Tax Ministry of Russia.
