Russian Constitution was adopted by Russian Federation in 1993. The Preamble to the constitution states that it will focus on providing equal justice to the people of the land. Justice and peace will be maintained in the country so that harmonious state of affair prevail.
According to the
Constitution of Russia, the country shall function under federal system of government. The nature of the state shall be democratic. The country of Russia will be also recognized as the Russian Federation. The Russian Constitution also allows the functioning of local self governments in the country.
The citizens of the country are provided with fundamental rights and certain liberties under the law of the land. The country will act as a sovereign nation where the power and participation of people will be respected. Legal disputes in the country are to be treated under the federal law of the country. The law of the country treats all citizens equally.
