Mount Elbrus is the tallest mountain peak in Europe. The main range of Caucasu creates border between Asia and Europe. No Georgian visa is required to climb Mount Elbrus as the mountain itself is located within the territory of Russia. The path from Elbrus area to Georgia is not a smooth one. Usually one has to go through border guard posts.
The eastern peak of this mountain is around 5621 meter in length that is slightly lower. It is also known by the following names:

The rope travel needs a lot of skill so don't ever try to climb up the mountain if you are not good at rock climbing.

Mount Elbrus is apt for skiing. As this ski area is located in the European tallest mountain the tourists can enjoy skiing throughout the year. In this context, it should be mentioned that the heli-skiing is possible over here in low cost.
