Founded in 1920, Ural State University is one of the best higher education institutes offering wide range of courses to the students coming from all parts of the world.
In the beginning the Ural State University had faculties in medicine, polytechnic, agriculture, social studies and pedagogical departments. But in the following years other faculties were included as the whole structure of the University was changed. In 1993, the Ural State University in Russian Federation got the permission to use multi-tired education center. This was a great honor for the University as this was the first University in Russia to have a number of holders of masters degree.

Facilities at Ural State University
Ural State University looks after the overall development of the students. The scientific library of the University has fund of 1064789 volumes. There are three museums,which boasts of rare books. The “News of Ural University” and “The Ural University” are the newspapers published by the University. The University gives the students enough opportunity of carrying out research expeditions.
