Now a days, numerous opportunities of investment in Russia have been cropping up. In the last few years, investment at Russia has increased largely. Though maximum growth has been found in foreign investments in Russia but in comparison to other countries it is very low. Countries like Great Britain, USA, Germany, France and Cyprus have been investing hugely in various sectors of Russia.
The main sectors in which opportunities are available for investment in Russian Federation are the oil and natural gas sector, real estate sector and power and supply sector. More and more foreign money is expected to be invested in these sectors. After the Russian economy being recognized as “market economy” by USA and EU, the country can expect more foreign funds in the near future.
One of the biggest hindrance to opportunities of investment at Russia is the fact that banking sector of Russia is very weak. People do not have much faith on it and this is why the role of this sector in gathering more and more investments have not much developed. Another barrier of investment in Russia is the political scenario of the country. Sometime ago, the country was facing the biggest wrath because of its political system but due to the flexibility which has been brought into the political scenario of Russia, it is now looked upon as one of the best place for investment.
