Flights to Paris

Paris Flights will be the busiest of all the French flights during the Rugby World Cup 2007 bringing spectators from all over the world to France.

Paris is a haven to tourists yearning for an exotic mingling of natural beauty and artistic creations. The city is on the banks of the river Seine and is a centre of both land and river trade routes. Some of the main spots of tourist interests in the city deal with the Eiffel Tower, the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe, the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur and the Louvre.

Three airports serve Paris, one of the most important cities of Europe and the whole world. These are the Paris Beauvais Airport, the Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport and the Paris Orly Airport . Of these, the Paris Beauvais Airport is located to the north of Beauvais. The airport can be accessed from the city by taxis or shuttle buses or by taking train from the station. The Paris Orly Airport, located 19 km south of Paris, is connected to the city by the Jetbuses that run every 15 minutes and the Orlybus. Different destinations in Paris are connected by the RATP buses. There are also limousines available from the airport. The Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport is at a distance of 23 km towards the northeast of the city. It is connected to the city through the limousine taxi services and the Roissy Bus services. The RATP Buses are also available. The railway also helps passengers to travel into the city. The three airports of Paris together is served by several domestic and international airlines like the Air China, Biman Bangladesh, British Airways , Air Jet, Air Inter, Cameroon Airlines , First Choice Airways, Regional, SNCargo, Swiss, Ryanair, Sterling and others.

The passengers can avail themselves of variety of amenities in the airports. The Help Desks assist in getting any kind of information wanted. There are Baggage facilities and the Bureaux de Change and ATMs located in the terminals. The Wheelchair facilities are available for the disabled. The passengers can also spend their time in the airports by spending times in the shops. Telephones are available in all the airports while the Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport and the Paris Orly Airport have a chapel, a synagogue and a mosque in the terminals of each of them.
