Paris, the capital city of France houses a stadium known as Parc des Princes that is well known for hosting many important events. With a capacity to hold 48,527 spectators, the stadium has hosted many important events such as 1984 European Championship final, final of the inaugural Rugby League World Cup in 1954 and Soccer World Cup matches in 1938 and 1998. Located in the capital city, the stadium can be accessed by plane, train, metro, car and bus. Aéroport d'Orly is the main airport that serves the city. The stadium that belongs to the Paris-Saint-Germain club, has been replaced by the Stade de France as the home for international sports matches since November 1997.
