Canada rugby team, which holds the 13 th position according to the International rugby Board rating in 2006-07, has participated in all Rugby World Cup s since 1987. The team, which has played 17 rugby matches, has won six matches scoring 336 points.
Canada was one of the 16 nations that were invited by the International Rugby Board (IRB) to compete at the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987 .
This 1991 Rugby World Cup quarterfinalist was eliminated in the pool phase itself in 1987, 1995, 1999 and 2003 Rugby World Cups . They also take part in other competitions such as the Churchill Cup besides the Rugby World Cup .

The team is preparing to win the trophy this year.
