2007 Rugby World Cup Pool A Team - England

England rugby team, the winners of the 2003 Rugby World Cup is preparing to grab the trophy this time also. The team that has gained the 6th position in the International Rugby Board world ranking in the year 2006-2007 has played 28 rugby matches and won 20 matches out of it.

The team headed by coach Brian Ashton was the finalists in the 1991 Rugby World Cup, semifinalists in the 1995 Rugby World Cup and quarterfinalists in the 1987 and 1999 Rugby World Cup. In 22 November 2003 where they met Australia in the finals to win the trophy.

The England rugby team enters the ground wearing white jersey, white shorts and navy socks, which is their uniform. The emblem on the shirts is a red rose. They have scored 964 points in the 28 matches played. England were the first to bring the Rugby World Cup to the northern hemisphere.
