Derrick Lee is an important member of the current Scottish rugby union squad and also one of the most experienced campaigners of the team. He is a regular campaigner for the squad as a full back and provides strength to that position during the matches. Derrick Lee was born on 1st October, 1973, and cherished a dream of becoming a successful rugby player. He had put in good effort to realize this dream. All these efforts paid of when he was summoned to join the Scottish rugby union squad in 1998.
Derrick Lee made his presence felt in his very first international match for Scotland on the 7th of February, 1998, against Ireland. Since then, he has been a regular campaigner for his national squad. He has already acquired 11 international caps and is still at the prime of his career. Derrick Lee is also a regular player as a full back at the club level and is expected to retire as one of the best rugby players to have ever played for Scotland.
