Bruce Smith

Bruce Smith was a NFL football player and is the holder of the NFL record for the maximum number of career quarterback sacks with as many as 200. He played in the position of a Defensive End and is still regarded as one of the most proficient players to have ever managed the position. He is also one of the few players who were equally successful in the international stage as well as in his club matches. In defense, he was strength personified for the teams he played for and helped them to win a number of matches.

After starting his rugby career at quite a young age, Bruce Smith achieved the record number of sacks for the two teams he had played for at club level-Buffalo Bills and Virginia Tech. He has won a number of awards in his life including UPI AFC Defensive MVP, AP NFL Defensive MVP and others a number of times. He was also honored by being included in the NFL All-Decade Team for both 1980s and 1990s. Bruce Smith is still regarded as one of best NFL football players in defense.
