Bruce Robertson or Bruce John Robertson is undoubtedly one of the most proficient midfield backs to have ever played for the New Zealand All Blacks squad. He is recognized for his excellent skills and elegant style of playing. He was an important member in and an automatic selection for the New Zealand All Blacks squad during the 1970s and the early 1980s. He was exceptional with his outstanding sense of positional play and his attacking skills attracted rugby lovers.
Bruce Robertson was proficient in the position of a centre three-quarter. He made his debut for the in a match against the New Zealand Juniors on the 13th of May, 1972. His international debut took place the same year on the 19th of August against Australia. He played prolific rugby for a number of years before retiring on the 20th of June, 1981 after playing his last match against Scotland. He had also been the captain of the All Blacks and has played 102 matches for the team. He is still regarded as one of the major midfield backs to have ever played for the All Blacks.
