Brian O Driscoll, also popularly known as BOD, God or Drico, is one of the most talented rugby players to have ever played for the Ireland national rugby union team. He is also the captain of his national team and is extremely popular among the supporters as well as his colleagues. He is looked upon as a good leader by everybody and leads his team by example on the field. He had a few years of experience of playing rugby at the provincial and club levels before joining the Irish national rugby union team.
Born on the 21st of January, 1979, Driscoll played his first international match in the year 1999 against Australia. Before that, he had played for the Ireland Schools rugby squad. He had also played in the Under-19 and Under-21 matches for Ireland. Brian O Driscoll has also had the honor of leading the British and Irish Lions apart from being the captain of his national team and achieving a total of 71 caps. Brian O Driscoll is regarded as one of the most talented rugby players of the present Irish squad as well as of the whole world.
