Billy Bush is one of the most famous rugby players to have appeared for the New Zealand rugby union team. He played in the position of a prop and managed the position successfully for the five years he appeared for the national team. Billy Bush was born on the 24th of January in the year 1949 in Napier. From his very childhood, he had a bent of mind towards becoming a successful rugby player. He started playing rugby at quite a tender age and played through several categories before getting a chance in the senior national team.
Billy Bush made his debut for New Zealand on 25th May 1974 against Australia. He won 12 international caps for the All Blacks team. Bush boasts of a record of winning as many as eight and losing three of the 12 international matches in which he has appeared. He retired in 1979 after his teams match against Australia on the 28th f of July. Billy Bush is still looked upon as one of the best players to have played as a prop in the New Zealand rugby union team.
