Bill Campbell

Bill Campbell is one of the most popular rugby players Australia have ever produced. He took Australian rugby to a different level altogether with his excellent playing skills on the rugby pitch. Born on the 28th of November in the year 1961, Campbell nourished a dream of becoming a rugby player from his very childhood. This was fulfilled on the 9th of June, 1984, when he was called for the national team for the first time.

Bill Campbell was an extremely effective player in the Australian squad of the mid-1980s. He used to play as a lock and is regarded as one of the best players in that position of his time. Bill Campbell has 22 caps to his name while playing for Australia. He boasts of an excellent record of winning 14 and losing only eight of his 22 matches. Bill Campbell is still regarded as one of the best locks to have played for the Australian rugby union team.
