Ben Clarke was an important member of the English rugby union team and provided strength to the team with his excellent playing skills during his time. He is regarded as one of the best players in the England squad of his time. Ben Clarke was born on the 15th of April at Bishop’s Stortford in England. From his very childhood, Clarke nourished a wish of playing rugby for his national squad. This dream of his was fulfilled on the 14th of November in 1992 when he made his debut for England against South Africa.
Ben Clarke played rugby successfully at both the club as well as the international levels. He played his club rugby at the famous Bath Rugby. This rugby player used to play either as a flanker or at the Number 8 position. He retired on the 26th of June in 1999 after a match against Australia. Ben Clarke is one of the legends of English rugby and is undoubtedly one of the best flankers England has produced till date.
